Things I like to spend money on + A GIVEAWAY

I've seen this post floating around lately, and I thought it would be fun to see where my money goes. Most of these things are just my guilty pleasures and are definitely not necessary to spend my money on, but hey it makes me happy. After paying bills each month, it's always nice to treat yourself or others to a few things. P.S check out the end of this post so maybe you can splurge and buy yourself something nice!

| Good Coffee | This is just a must. I make a pot of coffee every single day for my husband and myself, so I make sure to buy the good hazelnut coffee for at home. I splurge on Starbucks when I'm out or really needing an iced skinny caramel macchiato.

| Makeup | My number one splurge on myself is typically makeup or skincare products. I don't buy makeup just to hoard, I only buy what I know I will use so I make sure it's worth the money and good quality.

| Nail Polish | I may or may not be a tiny bit obsessed with nail polish. I have a pretty good collection, but I also justify buying new ones because I never get my nails done at the salon.

| Target Dollar Spot | I would say target in general, but lately the dollar spot has been really on point and I have't been able to resist.

| Things for my niece | As if that girl needs anymore clothes, but I just cannot help myself. Before she was born, I couldn't go into a store without buying her something. You bet every time I'm in target I look at those baby clothes.

Five Things This Week + A Giveaway!

Happy September everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your Labor Day weekend! I can almost taste the pumpkin spice...but not quite because it's still in the high 90's here in California. Here's hoping it cools off soon.

+I am back in school and I start student teaching on Tuesday. This means I will work three days a week at my normal job and student teach on the other two days. On top of school. Even though I can already tell it will be a lot I am actually really excited to get in the classroom!

+ All three of the moles that were removed and biopsied were in the mild dysplastic stage. That means they were benign, but it also means that it was a really good thing they were removed. I guess it makes me higher risk for the cells to morph into melanoma after time. Basically, I will have full body checks more often and keep track of my other existing moles.

+ I won tickets to a huge beer and wine festival in my town! It's this weekend and I am needless to say very excited to sample different wine and beers along with all the free food. I will definitely blog about this, and hopefully I will remember to take a lot of pictures. I'm pretty much a lightweight when it comes to drinking so let's just say it will be really interesting.

+ I finally got my hair done and let's just say that I'm not posting a picture quite yet because it really needs to be fixed.

+ After watching Helene's webinar on how to get paid for blogging, I am feeling so motivated! I love seeing bloggers come together to learn how to improve their blog and get paid to do something we love.

New Name / Blog Design + A Holiday Giveaway.

As you can probably tell, my little blog got a face lift! Not only a new design, but a new name as well. Just in time for the new year. I am so incredibly pleased and excited about this new change and I have Erin to thank for that! She did such an amazing job, was so flexible, kind, and fast! 

As you can see I now have categories on the top of my page. You can now read all about our wedding and planning ventures under one tab, along with lifestyle and beauty categories. 

Changing everything over to a new name is no joke, I almost had a few tears when I realized that I lost my bloglovin followers under my old name. Oh well, I am ready to start brand new with this beautiful blog.

Beauty Bash and a Giveaway

I don't know about you ladies, but I love makeup. I could probably spend hours in a Sephora or Ulta, just looking at all the new products. When my eye makeup looks good, I really do feel good. Just like it's possible to have a bad hair day, you can definitely have a bad eyelash day. I love using Benefit's They're Real Mascara because it really is the best high end mascara I have ever tried, and no I'm not getting paid or asked to say that. I really just love it that much.

My Lash Bash Party!

Hi Everyone!! I wanted to share with everyone how my Benefit + Ipsy Lash Bash went last night!

I had such a great time with my friends and family and couldn't be more thankful for the things that I received and was able to give amazing products out to my guests! 

I had everyone come to my place around 6:30 for dinner, desert, games, and fun! My mom made amazing enchiladas and dips for everyone; which was a hit! I made pink cupcakes and had a candy bar.  

We played the purse search game where you see who can get the most points from the items on a list that would be found in a purse, we also did a word search game, and a guessing game! 

Then we all played with makeup and took a ton of pictures! I really had the best time having everyone over to host my first party in mine and Joe's new place! I hope you all enjoy all of the pictures, I am still doing a giveaway I will mention again below! So please enter in that and I will pick a winner on October 5th!

Lash Bash + Giveaway!

Hi Girls!!

I am super excited about todays post....because; I was chosen to throw a benefit + Ipsy Lash Bash!

Basically on September 21st is when the bashes take place and you can invite 9 other girls to attend and receive fun bags! In those bags for the guests is one mini benetint, a mini sugarbomb lip gloss, and a they're real mascara; of course, since it is a Lash Bash! 

(I would include pictures of the lash bash kit, but mine is stuck in North Carolina due to weather :( )
