March Beauty Favorites

I cannot believe March is coming to an end! This month has really went by very quick and I am really excited about that. I am one month closer to being done with this awful semester of school, and only a week away from our vacation to Las Vegas! I have been loving a lot of new products this month so of course I want to share them with you.

St. Ives Nourish and Smooth - body scrub and body lotion* | I was sent these two products from Influenster to try out and give my honest opinion. I have been absolutely been loving these this month. My skin has been so extremely dry and itchy this winter and these products have helped a lot. The scrub is very gentle and doesn't contain those little beads that are harming the environment or people. They leave my skin feeling soft and smooth.

St. Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Moisturizer | I purchased this product after seeing a few YouTubers talk about this. It's less than five bucks at the drugstore and it is SO good you guys. I have been using this morning and night and it has helped keep my face hydrated and soft. I have seen people complain that it is in a jar, but I personally like it. Definitely recommend.

Essie 'Urban Jungle' | Nudes have been my favorite for nail color lately, and this has been on my nails a ton since purchasing it. This color is very buildable without becoming gooey like some other light polishes I know. It's a very pretty almost pinky nude with no shimmer.

NYX Blush in 'Taupe' | Holy contour for pale girls. I am so thankful I heard about this product after searching for the perfect contour shade for pale skin. This shade compliments my skin tone so well, and doesn't make me look blotchy or like I'm trying too hard like sometimes other contour shades do when I use them. I haven't been able to find it in store but I was able to purchase on Ulta's website.

Maybelline Lash Sensational | I recently picked this up again after running out of my previous mascara and I forgot how much I love this product! It is so similar to the Benefit Lash Roller without the big price tag. This mascara is perfect for lengthening and separating lashes.

Maybelline Master Fix Setting + Perfecting Powder | I have been loving this translucent powder. I've been using it to "bake" I guess, with a cheap cosmetic wedge over all of my concealer and it has helped a lot with creasing and fine lines.

What products have you been loving this month, what should I pick up next?

Disclaimer: I was sent the above products * from Influenster for testing purposes and to give my honest opinion. All thoughts are my own.

Rocksbox | My First Impressions

I am a huge fan of monthly subscription boxes, I like trying out things before I splurge and buy something. When I first heard of Rocksbox I was very intrigued, I am not a huge jewelry person, but the things I do buy I wear all the time. I have been eyeing a few Kendra Scott pieces lately and thought that I might give Rocksbox a try anyway to see if the things on my wishlist actually would get chosen for my box...and they did!

rocksbox review

How cute is the packaging and personal touches!?

rocksbox

How it works: Rocksbox costs $19/per month and you can keep and return your box as many times as you like in that month to get new pieces. The box consists of three designer jewelry pieces. You can create a wishlist on their site, and a stylist puts together a box specifically based on your wishlist and style quiz you take when you sign up. You can opt to purchase any or all of the pieces you recieve, and they are at a discount price, plus you get $10.00 credit to use each month!

You can receive a free month with code: vivianbff70

Here is what I received in my first box:

Kendra Scott - Elisa Silver Necklace in Iridescent Drusy | This was the piece I was hoping to get from my wishlist, and I actually got it! I knew this would be a staple necklace for me this spring and summer so I will definitely be purchasing and keeping this one! $65  $52 Insiders' Price

Sophie Harper - Pavé Infinity Ring in Silver | I have been wearing this ring non-stop since recieving it. It is so dainty and perfect because it really goes with every single thing. I am still deciding whether I will keep this one or not. $40  $32 Insiders' Price

House of Harlow 1960 - Geodesic Bangle in Silver | This bracelet is so pretty, and edgy at the same time. I don't own any bracelets like it, so I have been getting my wear out of it since getting it! $78  $47 Insiders' Price

This was a great first month for Rocksbox in my opinion, they really took what I said from my style quiz and wish list and sent me pieces that I will actually wear!

Have you ever tried out any other services, I am very curious to hear your experiences with makeup, clothing, and jewelry boxes!

Top Five Free Things to do in Las Vegas

After living in Las Vegas for quite some time and many trips after, I have found that some of my favorite things to do in Vegas are actually free! When I travel anywhere, I like to look online for a few things that are either free, or little cost. When you're traveling you already have the expense of hotel, travel, food, etc. So it is always nice to have a few things to do that are free.

The Park | This is the newest edition to the Las Vegas strip, and honestly my new favorite. We recently went back to Vegas for a trip and it was right after the grand opening of The Park. I was blown away at how pretty everything was and the amount there was to do right in that area. We were staying at the Excalibur which is really close, and attended a concert at the brand new T-Mobile Arena which is located at the end of The Park. It is an environment that feels so fresh and separate from the hustle of the strip, and I didn't want to leave! It is an outdoor dining and entertainment area that has so many delicious restaurants and bar areas (including Shake Shack). There are tons of picnic benches and fun lawn type games set up - life size jenga, connect four, corn hole, which is right up my alley. One night there was a live band, and the next a DJ, so it is definitely a form of free entertainment.

Bellagio Fountains |  I remember in high school my friends and I would drive down to the strip just to watch the fountains, even though we had seen them a million times. They just never get old. I will definitely say to try and go at night, because the experience is a must.  Each time feels different because they use different music and choreography for the fountains!

Conservatory | The Conservatory at Bellagio has to be on this list as well. The theme changes for the season, so if you go now, it will be something new for spring. The displays are so beautiful and make for great pictures.

Fremont Street Light Show - Every evening, multiple times a night there is a LED light show along with music. Although it isn't on the strip it's worth taking the drive to downtown Las Vegas at least to see it once. While you're there, they also have zip lining but that is at an extra fee. Maybe one day I'll try that. During the warmer months there are also many bands that preform outdoors for no cost.

Atlantis Show at Caesars Forum Shops - Not only is Caesars Palace a great place to go if you want to do some amazing shopping, but they also have a mini show that occurs every hour and it's completely free. It's a short and sweet show, plus it's located right next to the three story H&M so you can also get some shopping in.
