Ipsy July 2014 | Sensationally Sunkissed

With probably the cutest glam bag to date, Ipsy made me really happy this month. This months theme is sensationally sunkissed. The bag has a scalloped detail, with leather like material. Plus it's bright pink. 

BareMinerals 5 in 1 Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow "Divine Wine" | The color of this is really dark, and kind of made me look like I had a black eye. A little bit goes a very long way with this product. There was a lighter shade other Ipsy members received and I feel like that would have been much better for my skin tone. The product comes in 10 neutral shades, and provides brightening and priming benefits. 

Pixi Beauty Mini Tinted Brilliance Balm "Unique Pink" | I received the lighter of the two shades that could have appeared in the bag this month, and I love it! This balm is really hydrating on the lips, and it has a really nice mint scent. The color is unique to the pH level of your lips, which is really awesome. I also love that it twists up for more product. 

Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 8 | I don't really use many tanning products, unless you count sunless tanning products. I do like tan legs though so I may use this with a higher SPF just to make sure my skin isn't going to burn. 

Befine Food Skincare Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 | I have super dry skin and I use daily moisturizer two times a day. I try and use products with SPF in the morning before I apply my makeup so this product is perfect. It smells like rosemary and you don't smell the SPF at all which is nice.  

wHet Nail Polish "Facetious" | In the bottle it is this beautiful blue color but after trying to apply the polish, it was so hard to get even, it took about 3-4 coats and that didn't even make the color opaque. I ended up with a sloppy nail, so I took it off right away. I don't know if the heat from shipping affected the formula or what but I didn't care for it. 

My favorite product this month is definitely the Pixi Lip Balm.

Ipsy ~ April 2014

This months Ipsy theme was "Beauty Rocks" I will tell you before we jump in that this is one of my favorite bags I have received yet!

Also included in this months bag was a reminder of Generation Beauty that occurs the end of May to the first of June. I went last year, and I am so tempted to buy a ticket to go again this year! You meet so many beauty bloggers/vloggers and receive a ton of new products!

Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm (Apple Pink) - This color is so pretty, and looks great with my skin tone! There was two possibilities of colors that you could have received in your bag, and I was hoping for this color. A very pretty pale pink color, with the brush applicator. 

Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil (Black Velvet) - I love anything and everything Urban Decay. I was so happy to see this in my glam room this month. These eyeliners are so perfect, they last all day, and never smudge. 

Elizabeth Mott pop! Goes the Shadow (Champagne) - The color of this eyeshadow is so pretty. I am partial to nude or champagne eyeshadows for everyday use, so I know I will use this product often. Very good pigmentation also.

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant – I havent had a chance to use this product yet, due to my eye issue last week. I am excited and nervous to try this out because I have very sensitive skin. All of the reviews I have read so far though are amazing! This is what it says the product does:

St. Tropez Gradual Tan (Face) - I love my self tanners, but ones I have used on my face in the past have broken out my skin. I love St. Tropez so I am still very excited to give it a try. The reviews on this product aren't that great, so hopefully it works for me. Here is what the website says it will do:

"Prolong youthful skin and create a luminous, sun-kissed glow with this revolutionary multiaction moisturizer. It works to firm, plump, and visibly diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles, while hydrating without blocking pores. I give this month's bag a rating of  9/10! I didn't really care for the actual makeup bag itself this month.
